© Copyright Blue Armadillo Winery 2011   About The Blue Armadillo Winery For Friendlee, his wife Teresa and her Son Bart, the road to the Blue Armadillo Winery began in October 2007.  They started with a one hundred plus year old building, and brought it back to life.  Bart’s craftsmanship can be seen through out the Blue Armadillo, from the bar to the wine racks. Friendlee met Joe and Patrice Anselmo of Carmela Winery in March of 2008.  They were looking for a new location, and a partnership was born.   May 31st was a great day for the City Of Greenville, with their celebration of “My Downtown is Back”, and the opening of five new businesses, one of which was “The Blue Armadillo Winery”. When we started we had no way of knowing what just might happen or even if the time was right for a winery, but we stuck with it, and now our dreams are a reality. Come and join us! We have live music on Friday and Saturday nights, and offer wine tasting as well as private parties. Now the story continues with the addition of a 2nd Location in Princeton Texas!
